Request A Box

Once a Texas Tech family experiences a loss, they are contacted by the Dean of Students office and offered a bereavement package from the university if the family requests one. Blake’s Box will be placed inside the package along with various items from the university and mailed directly to the family - no strings, no follow-up, just acknowledgment.

THE TECHSAN MEMORIAL:

A Place Of Remembrance

The TECHsan Memorial at Texas Tech University is a deeply meaningful annual ceremony held during Homecoming Week to honor students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have passed away in the previous year. Families and friends are invited to gather as each student’s name is read aloud and engraved on a permanent plaque displayed in the Lew Jones Memorial Lounge of the Student Union Building.

For families who have experienced loss, this memorial is a powerful reminder that your child is not forgotten. Their name, their story, and their spirit remain woven into the fabric of Texas Tech - not just in your memory, but in the hearts of an entire university community.
